It's tumbleweed season. When I moved to Texas as a little girl I thought I would see them everywhere. Never saw any. Now that I am in Oklahoma, who'da thought it, they're everywhere! They come in the blustery time when fall turns to winter. Right now yards and doorways are full of them. Our first year here they would pile up halfway up our door and rush in when we let the dogs in and out. It's not as bad now since they've cleared the land behind our house, but we still have a lot of them.
