Victoria
This little girl, whose name is Victoria, is ten years old and was adopted from Russia at the age of eight.
She has been diagnosed with post-traumatic stress disorder. Victoria excels academically but struggles
with peers and social settings. Her original adoptive family and her therapist have been working with her
to decrease behaviors related to institutionalization—i.e., lying, stealing, poor problem-solving, etc.
Victoria's placing agency, Kentucky Adoption Services, feels she would do best in a home where she is
the youngest child. KAS is seeking an older and experienced couple who are willing to devote the necessary
time and guidance to helping Victoria grow into a successful adult. We are attaching a picture of Victoria.
