Snow!
Dad and the girls had fun playing in the snow this evening. The girls loved being pulled around on the sled we bought last year, but never got to use. Click here to see the pictures on Flickr.

It's Windy today!
Oh my word. It is really gusty here. We are getting winds up to 50mph! no other reason except that a cold front is coming in (expecting snow!) and that it is Oklahoma- where the winds are ALWAYS sweeping down the plains. :-) Stuff from our back porch is all over our yard. The sky is brown because of all the dust being blown around. Yuck! Good day to stay home!

Dossier is off to China!
Finally got word today from our agency that our dossier with all our paperwork is FINALLY off to China! Now China logs it in looks at it, waits a while and eventually tells us to come and get Amy. :-) Horray. Now we wait some more.
expecting snow here tomorrow. Always exciting for people from the deep south. :-)

Ice storm aftermath
I can't tell you how sad everything still looks around here because of the ice storm about a month ago. I actually get confused taking the girls to Mother's Day out because all the trees are down and piled up by the road. The streets don't look anything like they used to. Spring won't be as glorious as it was last year either. FEMA is touring our town today so hopefully a lot of the debris will be cleaned up soon.

Happy Anniversary
Yesterday was our 12th anniversary. Before kids we would do dinner and a show for our anniversary. We'd find a dinner theater or a broadway show to go to. Now we do dinner and a movie. :-) Went to a matinee showing of National Treasure (loved it) and then dinner at Cracker Barrel. Went and picked up the girls and we were all home before 9pm. hehe. We know how to party. It still wiped me out and I was exhausted by the time I got home.
Love you Brent, 12 years, how time flies!
